Report on the meeting of the International Microlight Commission and PPG (CIMA) of FAI, 11-13 November 2010. Wiki
CIMAOver the past year we have been working on a wiki to facilitate the work of committees of CIMA, and that they may disseminate relevant information. You can access from here .
Autogyros
In the 2009 meeting, the English delegation proposed that could organize competitions CIMA ultralight gyros. The decision is not CIMA, but FAI, so the proposal ended the case in the recent meeting CASI (General Air Sports Commission) of FAI. But the opposition of the IGC (Commission rotorcraft) prevented from taking a decision.
Unfortunately, IGC is the dog in the manger, and organizes championships gyros or allow others to organize. We're working on it to try that the next meeting of CASI our committee be allowed to organize such competitions, but this will not be possible until 2012 at the earliest. You can keep you informed here.
database records
FAI maintains its database of records, but at some when it was found that the specific details of microlight or paramotor used for the record in question was not correct, or not available. Since it is important to know what the equipment used has been created in the wiki a replica records list microlight and paramotor. CIMA delegates from any country may change the details.
If you got a world record at some point, see the page and see if your information is complete and correct record. If not, do not hesitate to discuss this with your CIMA delegate or alternate delegate who may make modifications to them indiquéis. Subsequently, FAI CIMA send the changes.
Database
FAI license from next January 1, 2011 all racing licenses issued by different countries will have to be registered in the database FAI Sporting License. Thus, both the applicant and the competition organizers can verify the validity of licenses without the need for the classic piece of cardboard.

Precision Landing | ESP Ultralight | test precision landing happens to be worth a maximum of 350 points, 250 for the band in which it lands, plus a maximum of 100 where the plane stops. 350 is an unattainable score (no lands within the grill to 100 m from the end of it) but the important thing is that the final value is not normalized to 250, but each rider gets their absolute value.
timing precision landing | Ultralight ESP | This test happens to have a maximum of 450 points: 250 for the band where you land, 100 where the plane stops and 100 accuracy at the moment of landing. Similar to the previous case, the resulting value of the sum of the three elements are not normalized, but each driver gets an absolute result.
